Add apps & allow websites

Choose which apps appear in the iWawa child space, allow safe websites, and pick which media folders your child can reach.

iWawa gives your child access only to the apps, websites, and media you approve. Everything is controlled from the parental control interface, so the kids desktop stays clean and safe. This guide shows how to manage the whitelist.

Choose which apps appear (the whitelist)

iWawa uses a whitelist: nothing shows on the kids desktop unless you add it.

  1. Open the parental control interface and enter your parent password.
  2. Go to the app list and select the apps you want your child to use.
  3. Save. Only the apps you picked will appear in the child space.

Group apps into folders

To keep the kids desktop tidy, you can group approved apps into folders. For example, create a "Games" folder and a "Learning" folder so your child finds things quickly. Drag apps together or use the parental controls to organize them into folders on the kids desktop.

Allow safe websites

You can let your child reach websites you trust:

  1. In the parental control interface, open the website / safe-links settings.
  2. Allow safe websites from the approved list, or add your own safe links by entering the web address.
  3. Save. Your child can open only the websites you allowed.

Choose which media the child can reach

You can also pick which media folders — music, photos, and video — your child can access. Select the specific folders you want to share so the child sees only appropriate content and not your entire library.

Review your whitelist now and then as your child's needs change. For account help, contact [email protected].
